یکی از انواع قراردادهای جذب سرمایه و تامین مالی، قرارداد احداث (ساخت)، بهره­برداری، انتقال (واگذاری) (<span dir="LTR">BOT</span>) است که از ترکیب سه نوع رابطه قراردادی تشکیل شده است. در این نوع قراردادها یک طرف که اغلب دولت (کارفرما) است، برای استفاده از ظرفیت­های اقتصادی، فناوری و زیربنایی بین­ المللی، اقدام به انعقاد قرارداد با شرکت­های بزرگ و قدرتمند (اغلب در قالب یک کنسرسیوم تشکیل شده از چند شرکت خارجی) در زمینه­های احداث و سرمایه­گذاری می­کند تا با جذب سرمایه و تکنولوژی به هدف کلان خود برسد. این هدف می­تواند در حوزه­های مهم و استراتژیک نظیر انرژی (ساخت نیروگاه­­ها و پالایشگاه­های نفت و گاز)، توسعه شهری و سایر زیرساخت­های حیاتی (مانند احداث بزرگراه­ها، فرودگاه­ها و سدها) باشد.<br>
به طور کلی <span dir="LTR">BOT</span> ساز و کاری قراردادی است که به واسطه آن طرح­های اقتصادی و زیر بنایی با مشارکت دولت و توسط شرکت­های خصوصی تامین مالی و اجرا شده و مورد بهره برداری قرار می‌گیرد.
One of the types of capital raising and financing contracts is construction contract, operation contract, transfer contract (BOT), which is a combination of three types of contractual relationship. In this type of contract, one party, which is often the government (employer), to use international economic, technological and infrastructure capacities, enters into contracts with large and powerful companies (often in the form of a consortium of several foreign companies) Builds and invests to achieve its grand goal by attracting capital and technology. This goal can be in important and strategic areas such as energy (construction of power plants and oil and gas refineries), urban development and other vital infrastructure (such as the construction of highways, airports and dams).<br>
In general, BOT is a contractual mechanism by which economic and infrastructure projects are financed, implemented, and operated by private companies with the participation of the government.
